Description
Uneven kernel feed causes sorting errors. When kernels arrive in clusters, cameras cannot evaluate each one individually. Misclassifications increase. The MHT02-0412C intelligent walnut sorting machine uses a high-frequency vibrator to spread kernels into a uniform single-layer flow before they reach the camera zone. Every kernel receives full four-angle evaluation. Accuracy stays high at full throughput.
Overview
Sorting accuracy depends on how kernels arrive at the camera. Overlapping or clustered kernels confuse AI classifiers and increase error rates. The MHT02-0412C addresses this at the feeding stage. The high-frequency vibrator breaks up clusters and spreads kernels across the full width of the Teflon conveyor. By the time a kernel reaches the four-camera scanning zone, it travels alone with clear space around it. The AI evaluates the kernel's full surface without interference from adjacent pieces. Ejection targets each kernel individually. Grade boundaries stay clean. This feeding consistency holds throughout the shift. The vibrator maintains uniform distribution whether the input hopper is full or nearly empty. For processors handling variable bulk density — wet walnuts, dried walnuts, mixed lots — consistent feed-layer quality protects accuracy across all material types.
